We feel very lucky to have our team of staff in our magical nursery. Our team are highly qualified in all aspects of childcare including NVQ Level 2 in Childcare up to Early years Teacher level. All of the team have gained their paediatric first aid qualification or are working towards it. Something that we feel very passionate about.
We follow our Safer Recruitment policy to ensure all staff and students are suitable to work with children. They have all received a clear DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) prior to commencing employment and our new staff are all registered on the update service. We always seek two references from previous employers or colleges and receive a copy of their qualifications.
We continually invest in our team and provide opportunities to further their knowledge and development which maintains their motivation, commitment and enjoyment. This could be through long term qualification routes, short courses or in-house training.
Our team are recruited not only for their qualifications but also for their caring and nurturing nature, ensuring that all of our children are cared for in a professional and understanding way.
